To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, CMB Wing Lung Bank had again appointed Gingko House*, a social enterprise, to tailor make CMB Wing Lung Mooncakes with low-sugar white lotus and salty egg yolk, for the donation to elderly, low-income families and disabilities living at Kowloon East district, with the support of Christian Family Service Centre#.

As a year of celebrating 90th anniversary of the Bank, about 3,000 pieces of mooncakes were made with “CMB Wing Lung” in Chinese character, which sponsored by the Bank and colleagues. CMB Wing Lung Mooncakes were delivered to people in need with warmth and hope prior to Mid-Autumn Festival.

*Ginkgo House was established in 2003. It is the first organization in Hong Kong to promote employment for the elderly, providing employment opportunities for the elderly who have financial and psychological needs to work.

#Christian Family Service Centre was established in 1954, to help Mandarin speaking refugees. Material aid, financial support and guidance in finding jobs were provided to needy families.
