Joined Earth Hour 2013 of World Wide Fund
The Bank has been supporting the annual Earth Hour* organized by the World Wide Fund since 2008. Same as previous years, we joined together with other corporations in Hong Kong to turn off the unnecessary electricity and lights on the billboards and neon signs at the specified period to support this world-wide environmental protection campaign. Through this meaningful campaign, we encouraged the public to conserve energy and to lead a green life.
*Earth Hour is a global event for energy conservation. It advocates families and corporations to turn off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances for 1 hour at 8:30p.m. on the last Saturday in March every year.
