Terms and Conditions of CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer Welcome Rewards (“the Rewards”):
- The promotional period of CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer Welcome Rewards (“the Rewards”) is valid from 2nd January 2021 to 31st March 2021, both dates inclusive (“the Promotional Period”).
- About “Reward 1: New Funds Reward” of the Rewards (“Reward 1”):
- New CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer: Customer who successfully opens a CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account and becomes CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer within the Promotional Period; and did not hold any single or joint name deposit accounts with CMB Wing Lung Bank (“the Bank”) between 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2020 with CMB Wing Lung Bank (except holding of CMB Wing Lung Credit Card).
- Reward 1 is only applicable to single and joint name deposit account.
- “New Funds” means the net growth in the Total Balance of customer. “Total Balance” means the total balance of the account /products (including current / savings deposits, fixed deposits, gold, securities and wealth management) of the customer portfolio.
- “Reward 1 Eligible Customer”: new CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management customer must place New Funds of HKD5,000,000 to HKD10,000,000 below or HKD10,000,000 or above within the following month of opening CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account and maintain the New Funds until the designated date as specified in the Table 1 below, in order to enjoy HKD6,000 or HKD8,000 Cash Rebate respectively.

- Reward 1 Eligible Customer must be CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer and holds a valid Hong Kong Dollar deposit account with the Bank during distribution of Reward 1 Cash Rebate.
- Each Reward 1 Eligible Customer can only enjoy Reward 1 once.
- About “Reward 2: Investment Fund and Securities Holding Balance Reward” of the Rewards (“Reward 2”):
- Customer must comply with the terms and conditions of above Clause 2 “Reward 1: The New Funds Reward” and entitled to Reward 1; and maintain the Investment Fund Balance (“Investment Fund Balance”) and/or Securities Balance (“Securities Balance”) for every cumulative amount of HKD100,000 (HKD or equivalent) on 30th June 2021 to enjoy the listed Cash Rebate below; each eligible customer can enjoy up to HKD20,000 Cash Rebate (“Reward 2 Eligible Customer”).

- “Investment Fund Balance” is the market value of Investment Fund in hand, it is only applicable to open-end funds distributed and designated by the Bank, excluding the money market funds. For details, please check with our relationship manager. If the settlement currency of the investment fund is not in Hong Kong Dollar, the Investment Fund Balance will be calculated into Hong Kong Dollar equivalent, the exchange rate is determined by the Bank from time to time.
- “Securities Balance” is the market value of securities in hand. If the settlement currency of the securities is not in Hong Kong Dollar, the Securities Balance will be calculated into Hong Kong Dollar equivalent, the exchange rate is determined by the Bank from time to time.
- Reward 2 is applicable to both Cash Securities Trading Account and Margin Securities Trading Account.
- Each Reward 2 Eligible Customer can only enjoy Reward 2 once.
- About “Reward 3: Fund Subscription Fee Rebate” of the Rewards (“Reward 3”):
- Customer must comply with the terms and conditions of above Clause 2 “Reward 1: The New Funds Reward” and entitled to Reward 1; and successfully subscribes any open-ended funds distributed by the Bank in the first 3 calendar months from the month of CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account opening ("Fund Subscription Counting Period") will be entitled to Fund Subscription Fee Rebate (“Reward 3 Eligible Customer”). Each Reward 3 Eligible Customer can enjoy up to HKD10,000 Cash Rebate.

- Eligible customer who complies with Clause 4.a above will be entitled to Reward 3, eligible customer shall pay fund subscription fee upfront first. Reward 3 Eligible Customer must log into CMB Wing Lung Bank Wintech mobile application to redeem the Cash Rebate between 1st September 2021 and 30th September 2021.
- Reward 3 is applicable to eligible customer who submits relevant fund subscription instructions to the Bank and being accepted by 3 pm on the day of the end of Fund Subscription Counting Period.
- If the fund subscription is not settled in Hong Kong Dollar, Reward 3 will be converted to the equivalent Hong Kong Dollar and will be credited to the designated deposit account. The exchange rate is determined by the Bank from time to time.
- All other fees/charges applicable to the relevant fund, including switching fees, redemption fees, management fees and other fees (if applicable) will continue to apply to Reward 3 Eligible Customer.
- Reward 3 is not applicable to investment fund monthly saving plan, investment funds with no subscription fees and money market funds.
- Each Reward 3 Eligible Customer can only enjoy Reward 3 once.
- About “Reward 4: CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer Referral Program” of the Rewards (“Reward 4”):
- Referrer of Reward 4 (“the Referrer”) and Referee of Reward 4 (“the Referee”) must meet below (i) to (iv) clauses for the Referrer to be Reward 4 Eligible Customer:
- the Referrer must be the Bank’s existing customer; and
- the Referrer must complete CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Customer Referral Form (“the Referral Form”) and return it to CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Centre, 2nd Floor, 45 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong or Referrer’s relationship manager of CMB Wing Lung Bank. If the Referee is referred to the Bank by more than one referrer, only the referrer who first submitted the Referral Form to the Bank (as determined based on the Bank’s record) will be eligible for Reward 4; and
- the Referral Form must be signed by the Referrer. Unless the Referral Form is signed by the Referrer, otherwise the Bank will not provide any Reward 4; and
- the Referee must be Reward 1 Eligible Customer of the Rewards for the Referrer to enjoy HKD5,000 Cash Rebate.
- Reward 4 Eligible Customer can enjoy HKD5,000 Cash Rebate for each successful referral of CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management customer, with no limitation on referral number.
- The Referrer cannot refer himself / herself as the Referee.
- The Bank’s staff is not eligible to be the Referrer or the Referee of Reward 4.
- Reward 1 Eligible Customer, Reward 2 Eligible Customer, Reward 3 Eligible Customer, Reward 4 Eligible Customer of the Rewards (“the Rewards Eligible Customer”) must log into CMB Wing Lung Bank Wintech mobile application to redeem the Cash Rebate between 1st September 2021 and 30th September 2021 (“the redemption period”). If the Rewards Eligible Customer does not log into CMB Wing Lung Bank Wintech mobile application to redeem the Cash Rebate during the redemption period, it will be forfeited absolutely and will not be provided to the Rewards Eligible Customer through any other means.
- If the Rewards Eligible Customer holds a joint account, only the account’s primary holder will be entitled to the Cash Rebate of the Rewards. The Rewards Eligible Customer shall hold a valid Hong Kong Dollar account of the Bank during redemption period, otherwise no Cash Rebate will be granted. If the Rewards Eligible Customer holds more than one Hong Kong Dollar deposit accounts, the Bank will determine the Cash Rebate to be credited to any one of the HKD deposit accounts at its discretion.
- Customer will not be informed if customer is not eligible to enjoy any rewards of the Rewards.
- Reward 1, Reward 2, Reward 3 and Reward 4 of the Rewards are limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
- The Bank reserves the right to discontinue, modify or terminate Reward 1, Reward 2, Reward 3 and Reward 4 of the Rewards at any time without further notice. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the final right of explanation and decision.
- Risk Disclosure: The risk of loss associated with the volatile movement in foreign exchange market can be substantial. Participants should have a thorough understanding of the market and should be aware of the risk of foreign exchange investment.
- If case of discrepancies between the English and the Chinese versions of the terms and conditions of the Rewards, the Chinese version shall prevail.
