General Terms and Conditions of CMBWLB Wintech Travel Promotional Offer：

  1. The promotional period of CMBWLB Wintech Travel Promotional Offer ("the Promotional Offer") is from 1st March 2018 to 31st January 2020 (both dates inclusive) ("the Promotional Period"), unless otherwise specified in other terms and conditions.
  2. CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited ("the Bank") reserves the right to suspend, amend, terminate or cancel any of the Promotional Offers and/or amend theses terms and conditions at any time without further notice. Should there be any disputes of these terms and conditions or any terms and conditions of any of the Promotional Offers, the Bank’s decision shall be final and binding.
  3. Customer will not be informed if he / she is not eligible to enjoy any of the Promotional Offer.
  4. The General Terms and Conditions of the Promotional Offer are applicable to all of the following promotional offers.
  5. The following promotional offers are subject to the terms and conditions of the related products / services.
  6. In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of the terms and conditions of the Promotional Offer, the English version shall prevail.

Terms and Conditions of Foreign Currencies Notes Exchange Promotional Offer

  1. Customer can enjoy the following preferential exchange rate for purchasing designated foreign currencies notes via CMBWLB Wintech mobile application. Preferential exchange rate for designated foreign currencies notes are as follows:

  2. Each customer can enjoy the Foreign Currencies Notes Exchange Promotional Offer for the first purchasing transaction via CMBWLB Wintech mobile application on a daily basis and the maximum daily transaction limit is HKD200,000 equivalent.
  3. The service hour for foreign currencies notes exchange is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. No service is available on Sundays, public holidays, when typhoon signal no. 8 or above is hoisted or black rainstorm signal is in force.
  4. Foreign currencies notes will be ready for collection at the designated branch selected by customer 2 hours after the foreign currencies notes exchange request is accepted by the Bank. If the foreign currencies notes exchange request is accepted by the Bank after 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday or 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the foreign currencies notes can only be collected after 10:30 a.m. on the next working day.
  5. The exchange of foreign currency does not accept the customer authorizes the third party to collect the exchange of foreign currency. The customer must collect it in the selected location in person.
  6. In case the foreign currencies notes exchange request cannot be successfully executed, the HKD equivalent of the transaction amount will be credited to the withdrawal account. The Bank holds no responsibility for losses due to exchange rate fluctuation for any unexecuted foreign currencies notes exchange request.

50% Premium Discount for Subscribing "Travel Insurance 2.0" (Single Journey / Annual Cover) (“50% Premium Discount for Travel Insurance Promotional Offer”)

Terms and Conditions of 50% Premium Discount for Travel Insurance 2.0 Promotional Offer

  1. Customer can enjoy 50% premium discount for subscribing "Travel Insurance 2.0" (Single Journey / Annual Cover) via CMBWLB Wintech mobile application during the Promotion Period.
  2. Upon successful online subscription for "Travel Insurance 2.0" (Single Journey) policy, no premium will be refunded if the customer has cancelled such subscribed policy. Upon successful online subscription for "Travel Insurance 2.0" (Annual Cover) policy, premium may be refunded (if any) according to the relevant policy terms and conditions if the customer has cancelled such subscribed policy.
  3. 50% Premium Discount for Travel Insurance 2.0 Promotional Offer is governed by the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant products and services. For details, please refer to the terms and conditions of the relevant products / services or contact the staff of the Bank or CMB Wing Lung Insurance Company Limited ("CMB Wing Lung Insurance") (enquiry hotline: 2826 8428).
  4. In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between the Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, the Bank is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms of relevant insurance product will be resolved directly between CMB Wing Lung Insurance and the customer.
  5. CMB Wing Lung Insurance reserves the rights to amend, change, cancel or terminate the 50% Premium Discount for Travel Insurance 2.0 Promotional Offer, discount and any terms and conditions without notice. In case of any disputes, the decision of CMB Wing Lung Insurance shall be final.
  6. CMB Wing Lung Insurance “Travel Insurance 2.0” is underwritten by CMB Wing Lung Insurance which is authorized by the Insurance Authority of HKSAR. The Bank is an insurance agent appointed by CMB Wing Lung Insurance. CMB Wing Lung Insurance is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bank.
