Terms and Conditions for CMB Wing Lung New Customer Promotion
I. General Terms and Conditions:
- The promotion (the “Offer”) period for the Offer is from 1 February 2021 to 30 June 2021, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
- The promotion is only applicable to single and joint name deposit account.
- The Offer is only applicable to customer who makes appointment for account opening via CMBWLB Wintech mobile application (the “Wintech”) and opens a CMB Wing Lung Bank (the “Bank”) deposit account during the Promotion Period, and did not hold any single or joint name deposit account in the preceding 12 months, except holding of CMB Wing Lung Credit Card (the “New Customer”).
- Unless otherwise specified, the Offers under Section III - IV are only applicable to New Customer who does not become the customer of CMB Wing Lung Private Banking Service before the corresponding reward is delivered. The Offers under Section III - VI are only applicable to New Customer who does not become the customer of CMB Wing Lung Private Banking Service or CMB Wing Lung Private Wealth Management Service or CMB Wing Lung Sunflower Service before the corresponding reward is delivered.
- “Total Balance” refers to the total balance of the account /products (including demand deposits, fixed deposits, gold, securities and wealth management) of the customer portfolio.
- New Customer will be entitled to the Offer once only during the Promotion Period.
- If the New Customer is entitled to the Offer in conjunction with other promotional offer during the Promotion Period, the Bank reserves the right to grant the New Customer one of or part of the entitled Offer
- Customers understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the reward. The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the reward, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of the reward provided by the supplier, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the reward provided by the supplier, its employees, officers or agents..
- Monthly Maintenance Fee is applicable to the Bank’s deposit account. For details, please refer to the Bank’s General Banking and CMB Wing Lung Sunflower Service Charges.
- The Bank reserves the right to vary, extend, terminate and/or cancel any of the Offer(s) or to amend any of the Terms and Conditions herein from time to time. In case of any disputes, the Bank’s decision shall be final and binding.
- In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and the English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
II. Terms and Conditions for Wintech Fixed Deposit e-Offer (the “e-Offer):
- New Customer who logs in to Wintech within the same calendar month upon opening deposit account will be entitled to the e-Offer.
- The e-Offer includes:
- 3 month CNY fixed deposit up to 2.1% p.a. The principal amount should be not less than CNY10,000 and not more than CNY3,000,000.
- The e-Offer will be provided in e-coupon format when New Customer first logged in to Wintech. The e-coupon will be available in 30 days after distribution date. New Customer must redeem e-coupon in Wintech to set up fixed deposit.
- For reference only (the actual annualized fixed deposit interest rate is subject to the date of fixed deposit established)
The above-mentioned annualized fixed deposit interest rate offer is based on the branch annualized fixed deposit interest rate announced by the Bank on 6 January 2021. And this is computed based on the 3 months CNY 100,000 or above annualized fixed deposit interest rate on that day plus an additional annualized fixed deposit interest rate of 1.1%.
III. Terms and Conditions for Wintech Monthly Lucky Draw:
- New Customer who opens deposit account in Wintech will be entered to Lucky Draw for a chance to receive a smartphone (256GB) (Reference Retail Price: HKD9,299), for a duration of 5 months. 1 smartphone will be available each month, with a total of 5 winners
- Eligible customer who
- Successfully opens a new deposit account in that month can only participate in the lucky draw of that month. Each eligible customer can only participate in the lucky draw once ONLY; and
- Total Balance (as defined in clause 5 under Section I) meets HKD50,000 or above (HKD or equivalent) on or before the following month of the account opening date. Fund in Deadline and Result Announcement are illustrated as follows

- Result Announcement will be published on the Bank’s official website as speculated in the table of clause 2(ii). Winner will receive a call from the Bank's staff and collect their prizes at the designated location within the designated period. The collection periodis speculated as follows.

- Employees of the Bank are not eligible for the offers mentioned herewith.

IV. Terms and Conditions for FPS Welcome Offer:
- New Customer who successfully opens a deposit account and fulfil following requirements can be entitled to HKD100 FPS Welcome Offer:
- Selects the Bank as the designated bank of FPS at the month of account opening ; and
- Makes a FPS transaction once on or before the following month of the account opening date; and
- Total Balance (as defined in clause 5 under Section I) meets HKD50,000 or above (HKD or equivalent) on or before the following month of the account opening date. Fund in Deadline is illustrated as follows

- New Customer is required to login Wintech to collect Reward as the table illustrated below (the “Reward Collection Period”). Reward will be credited into HKD deposit account. If New Customer does not collect reward in Reward Collection Period, it will be forfeited absolutely and will not be provided to the New Customer through any other means.

- Notification will be made to New Customer upon Reward is available for New Customer to collect.
- If New Customer holds more than one HKD deposit account at the Bank when New Customer collects Reward, the account to be credited with the reward will be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion. The account status of each New Customer should remain valid and normal at the time when the corresponding offer is rewarded or delivered to the New Customer, otherwise, the reward will be forfeited absolutely.
- All deposit accounts of customer must be valid and FPS must maintain binding status while the Bank credits reward to the designated account in order to be eligible to FPS Welcome Offer. In case of any disputes, the Bank reserves the right of final decision.
V. Terms and Conditions for Securities & Wealth Management Account Opening Offer:
- New Customer who fulfils all of the following requirements will be entitled to the Securities Wealth Management Account Opening Offer:
- Successfully opens Securities and/or Wealth Management Account; and
- Successfully logs in to Wintech once; and
- Total Balance (as defined in clause 5 under Section I) meets HKD50,000 or above (HKD or equivalent) on or before the following month of the account opening date.

VI. Terms and Conditions for New Fund Growth Reward (the “Reward”):
- The promotion period for the Reward is from 1 February 2021 to 31 March 2021, both dates inclusive.
- New Customer places a designated New Fund with HKD500,000 or above (HKD or equivalent) by 31 March 2021 and maintains it until 30 June 2021 (whole day inclusive) to enjoy the Reward.
- New Customer can enjoy HKD500 Cash Rebate for every HKD500,000 New Fund or its equivalent or above. Each New Customer is entitled to a maximum of HKD500 under this Reward.
- “New Fund” refers to monies deposited by cash, cheque/cashier’s order, Local Bank Transfer Payment through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS, also known as Clearing House Automated Transfer System (CHATs), telegraphic transfer from other banks or transfer-in Investment Funds, Debt Securities or Securities from other banks or financial institutions to the investment product account held with the Bank excluding renewal or rollover of existing time deposits and transfer of funds from any account with the Bank.
- New Customer is required to login Wintech to collect Reward from 1 August 2021 to 31 August 2021, both dates inclusive (the “Reward Collection Period”). Reward will be credited into HKD deposit account. If New Customer does not collect Reward in Reward Collection Period, it will be forfeited absolutely and will not be provided to the New Customer through any other means.
- Notification will be made to New Customer upon Reward is available for New Customer to collect.
