    Customers joining the Securities Savings Scheme can enjoy the following privileges:

 

  1. Transaction fee refund1
  2. Commission rebate2
  3. Credit Card Spending Rebate3
  4. Odd lots sold at the market bid price of board lot4

Remarks:

  1. After making monthly contribution for six consecutive months, refund of transaction fee for the sixth month will be deposited to the settlement account in the seventh month. The refund mechanism will start over again if the customer selects another share for investment.
  2. Customers joining two schemes under the same securities account can get 10% commission rebate for each scheme. 20% commission rebate per scheme is offered for customers joining three or more schemes under the same securities account. Customers have to pay full transaction fee for buying shares and rebate will be credited to the settlement account within a month after the payment date. Commission refers to the remaining amount of transaction fee for buying shares after deducting stamp duty, transaction levy, investor compensation levy and CCASS settlement fee.
  3. This offer is not applicable to corporate customers. To be eligible for credit card spending rebate, customers must hold CMB Wing Lung Bank HKD VISA Card / MasterCard and have registered for "Credit Card Cash Rebate Scheme" with the Bank. Customers whose VISA/Master credit card application is not accepted due to whatever reasons or who have not registered for the "Credit Card Cash Rebate Scheme" will not be eligible for the offer. For joint securities accounts, only one of the account holders will be entitled to the offer. For customers holding more than one securities account with the Bank, commission is counted separately for each account. For the CMB Wing Lung Bank VISA/Master Platinum/Gold/Classic Card holder, who are entitled to 0.5% credit card spending rebate on the commission paid for the month. Rebate will be doubled (i.e. 1%) for transactions successfully completed through NET Banking Service (excluding amendment instructions). Claims for double rebate will not be entertained if customers cannot logon to the NET Banking Service to place orders due to system congestion, system failure or whatever reasons. Customers who hold the CMB Wing Lung Bank VISA Infinite Card are entitled to 2.5% credit card spending rebate on the commission paid for the month through any transaction channels.
  4. For shares listed on the Main Board (except CMB Wing Lung Bank shares, China Merchants Bank shares and shares of the listed subsidiaries of China Merchants Group and non-CCASS stocks), odd lot shares can be sold at board lot market bid price. The sale order will be processed only after a board lot transaction of that particular stock has been executed. For shares not listed on the Main Board (or CMB Wing Lung Bank shares, or China Merchants Bank shares, or shares of the listed subsidiaries of China Merchants Group, or non-CCASS stocks) or warrants of less than one board lot, odd lot shares can be sold at the prevailing odd lot price (if any) which is normally lower than the board lot market price.
  5. Customers can only enjoy either transaction fee refund or commission rebate. The transaction fee refund or commission rebate of each month, whichever is higher, will be deposited to customers' settlement account.
  6. This scheme operates in accordance with Part 4 "Securities Savings Scheme" of the Securities Services Agreement. This scheme is only applicable to customers holding a cash securities account.
  7. Should there be any amendments to the terms and conditions of this scheme, the latest release of the Bank shall prevail. The Bank's explanation and decision shall be final in case of any dispute.
