CMB Wing Lung Food Pack Donation
In late 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Hong Kong remained challenging and brought adverse impacts on the grass-roots families and elderly singletons or elderly doubletons. During Winter Solstice Festival, collaborating with Gleaners Community Foodbank under Kwun Tong Methodist Social Service*, the Bank distributed CMB Wing Lung Food Pack to 1,000 grass-roots living in Kwun Tong District from 14th to 18th December 2021. Therefore, they could enjoy Winter Solstice dinner with their families.
*Methodist Kwun Tong Social Service is a community-based non-profit social service organization. Since 1966, the center has provided diversified social services in Kwun Tong District. The service targets include poor children and teenagers, low-income families, single-parent families, elderly people living alone, and middle-aged and elderly people who have been unemployed for a long time.
