On 3rd December, the Bank has organized the Beach Cleaning and Dolphin Watch Tour with Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society and Hong Kong Young Women Christian's Association (HKYWCA). During the activity, CMB Wing Lung Volunteer Team and primary school students from underprivileged families in Tuen Mun went on a boat trip to visit dolphins living in the waters around Lantau Island. They also cleaned the rubbish on a pebble beach in Tai O, in order to help conserve the dolphins in local waters of Hong Kong. From the activity, both volunteers and students not only learned the habit and characteristics of dolphins, but also realized the importance to reduce waste at source.

*Established in 2003, Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society is the only society dedicated to the conservation of whales, dolphins and porpoises of Hong Kong. It is committed to enhancing the public's understanding of dolphins found in local waters and other parts of the world through research, promotion and education, in order to achieve the purpose of conservation.

^ HKYWCA was established in 1920. From 2012 onwards, the Bank has partnered with HKYWCA to organize Staff Volunteer Activity which targets elderlies living in residential care unit or living alone and children from underprivileged families.
