Supported Financial Education Workshop of The Hong Kong Association of Banks and the Hong Kong Council of Social Services
As a good corporate citizen, the Bank supported the Financial Education Workshop* initiated by The Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) and the Hong Kong Council of Social Services (HKCSS) for the 4th consecutive years since 2013. On 5th March (Saturday), colleagues of the Bank joined the activity at Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service as guest speaker and helpers, to share the correct values and tips in financial management with 40 parents coming from the low-income families. Participated parents were enthusiastic for the lively sharing of the guest speaker, as well as the interactive games and group discussion. They also expressed that the Workshop was fruitful to them.
* Financial Education Workshop was jointly launched by HKAB and HKCSS from 2010. With workshops organized across different districts, volunteers from banks shared their professional knowledge in financial management. The Workshop aims to help low-income family members to better manage and spend their money so as to achieve the ultimate target of improving the financial situation of the families.
