Sponsored Colleagues to Join the 31st “Green Power Hike” of Green Power
On 13th January 2024, CMB Wing Lung Bank actively took part in the "Green Power Hike"* Bank Cup charity event organized by Green Power for the 10th consecutive year. This year, CMB Wing Lung Bank and China Merchants Bank (Hong Kong Branch) joined hands with a total of 25 staff forming seven teams to participate in the 10km, 25km, and 50km Bank Cup categories. Upholding the principle of "leave no trace," the teams made significant contributions to the ecological and environmental preservation of Hong Kong.
Among the seven participating teams, the 50km team achieved an impressive second place in their level of competition, adding to the encouragement and motivation for future endeavors.
*Green Power Hike is one of the largest charity hiking activities on Hong Kong Island. It is also the annual fund-raising event of Green Power. Donations raised from the event have been used as the main source of Green Power to promote environmental education.
