Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks Commission Wavier Offer
From 1st March 2017 till 30th September 2017 (“Promotional Period”), Eligible Customer2 can use the commission fee paid for buying HK Stocks in a calendar month during the Promotional Period to deduct the commission fee for buying Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares or US Stocks in the next calendar month. That means four kinds of securities: HK Stocks, Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares or US Stocks can be bought with just one commission fee, which greatly reduce the investment cost!
Terms and Conditions of Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks Commission Wavier Offer:
- The promotional period of Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks Commission Wavier Offer (“This Promotion”) is from 1st March 2017 to 30th September 2017 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotional Period”).
- Eligible Customer must hold a Securities Account of Wing Lung Bank Limited (“the Bank”) while having RMB Savings Account and Foreign Currency Combination Savings Account registered as securities settlement account and signing the “Application Form for Trading Securities in Overseas Markets” in order to trade Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks through the Bank.
- During the Promotional Period, commission fee paid by Eligible Customer for buying HK Stocks in a calendar month can be used to deduct the commission fee for buying Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares or US Stocks in the next calendar month (“Commission Rebate”).
- If Eligible Customer does not have any transactions of buying HK Stocks in the preceding calendar month, This Promotion is not applicable to the current calendar month.
- The months for calculating “the total commission fee paid for buying HK Stocks in the calendar month” and “deducting the total commission fee paid for buying Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks in the next calendar month” are as follows:

- Eligible Customer shall pay the pre-defined trading commission fee of Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks first in full, the Bank will calculate the Commission Rebate for each Eligible Customer after the end of each calendar month and will deposit the Commission Rebate to the settlement account (for cash securities account) or securities account (for margin securities account) of the Eligible Customer within the next calendar month.
- The relevant Commission Rebate will be converted to equivalent Hong Kong Dollar at exchange rate “HKD1=RMB1” and “HKD7.8=USD1”. The maximum amount of Commission Rebate for each securities account per calendar month is “the total commission fee paid for buying HK Stocks in the preceding calendar month” or “the total commission fee paid for buying Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks in the calendar month” (whichever is lower).
- The Commission Rebate of This Promotion will be settled in each calendar month and will not accumulate or rollover to other months.
- Eligible Customer must still maintain the securities account and settlement account of the Bank when Commission Rebate is deposited; otherwise, no Commission Rebate will be given.
- Eligible Customer cannot enjoy commission, interest, coupon rebate and other offers of other related securities services offered by the Bank simultaneously. The Bank will calculate the rebate/coupon amount of each offer applied on an individual account each month for comparison, only one of the offers with the highest value will be given to the customers.
- The HK Stocks bought through Securities Savings Scheme are not applicable to This Promotion.
- If the margin securities account was liquidated forcibly by the Bank during the Promotional Period (that means the account maintained insufficient margin causing the Bank to liquidate forcibly of all or part of the securities), such account will not be awarded any offer or Commission Rebate from that month.
- Eligible Customer should still pay other fees of the Bank, including but not limit to settlement fee, handling fee, securities management fee, transfer fee and stamp duty, etc. For more details, please refer to Securities Service Charges on the General Banking and Sunflower Service Charges and Overseas Securities Service Charges Schedule. If there are any changes, the Bank will charge customers according to the latest charge schedule determined by corresponding regulatory organizations.
- The Bank reserves the right to suspend, amend, terminate or cancel any offers, rewards, rebate and/or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without further notice. Should there be any disputes of the Terms and Conditions of Shanghai A Shares, Shenzhen A Shares and US Stocks Commission Wavier Offer, the Bank reserves the final right of explanation and decision. - If there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
